Could Software Evolve Naturally?

During the last few weeks I have had to deal with several disturbing images of animals caged and chained, some in circuses, which affected me deeply.

made me wonder if my feelings of sadness, anger and empathy would have been similarly awakened if he had seen tied to a desktop computer, or a stone chained to another rock.

Just as simply know that a caged animal that is chained or is suffering because of empathy -. We put ourselves in the position of that being and know that for us would be terrible and intolerable

Surely we can be deceived. The Turing test for artificial intelligence is based on the premise that at some point an inanimate thing that is human can convince us through our verbal interaction with him.

Therefore, if we take this research a little more we know that a team from this “artificial” smart guy works with software that presumably was scheduled intentionally and intelligently.

And we have previously noted , our DNA works as software -. We can now edit and reprogram it to make biochemical changes in ourselves or even create other organisms

But DNA is presumably the product of natural evolution. While we can now synthesize (artificially) in the “natural” world that has preceded us for billions of years.

Biochemically DNA also interacts with other substances and hormones in our bodies apparently to provoke or cause our feelings like empathy, sadness and anger -. We know that in some cases these can be measured by the biochemical control

But again we do not know how. How these biochemical combinations produce qualia – or feeling or taste of something? What it is noteworthy or evaluation of these feelings and then label them; or better yet, what accounts even before a label is applied?

Deepening, it seems that is precisely the ability to detect and assess a sense or feeling that makes something alive, animated, or conscious.

is the presence of a quality (not a thing) that allows us of our “inside” know that we are here, we feel, and of course we exist.

Y is the sense that the caged or chained animal also feels its existence and knows his situation, and indeed has been terribly deprived of necessary affection qualia-like, that gives rise to our empathy, however you can express biochemically.

This is clearly a pointer to consciousness – discrimination between the natural and what is inanimate or artificial -. And the detection of the unique energetic quality within ourselves

But all the software we know through computers is inanimate. Expresses human intelligence (encoded) but is not a natural phenomenon. Humans created.

So to this point all the software we have found has been “artificial” -. Created through programming code and make expressed through inanimate

DNA, however, it is an anomaly. We understand it as software, but apparently is a completely organic, natural entity.

could go a step further and say that the software is also a natural substance, since it is the product of natural beings (humans), but that would be honest if we return to the caged animal – because we know of innately the difference (or usually) between the living and what is inanimate. And we are alive -. Software is not

We also know that the software is the product of the (human) intelligence; without human intelligence not exist. We call it intellectual property and protect patents and copyrights.

And now allow companies to patent genetic configurations similar to intellectual property.

So the question must be addressed deeply: the natural world in itself capable of intelligent evolution at the DNA level

is the intelligence of the defect in nature, and are then simply? another expression of that reality?

(O is the product of DNA from another non-human intelligence – simply the question arises how really any life arises)

For our present science, and unfortunately for our civilization, this is currently the most “inconvenient truth”: Any scientific answer is elusive without addressing the question of consciousness (which is precisely that aspect of reality in which the recognition of the existence of one arises) .

simply can not explain the existence of DNA as a software program without greatly expand our whole notion of reality. As an intellectual product, how it could have evolved into a sensitive universe dead or not? Only a living intelligence could have resulted in DNA.

But remain completely open to anyone without knowing the answer, or the answer is beyond our knowledge never, can lead to a deeper allowing the natural flow of life to be what sense .

Once we are able to understand that life itself must be unspeakably smart to have a DNA evolved, our whole relationship to life has to change; so that instead of believing that we can control life and nature from a position of superiority, we must assume our rightful place within the vast infinite intelligence of the natural order.
