Whenever I can, I try to ride a bike to work. It makes all the difference in my day! But I’ve noticed that when I pedaled more often than driving, my face would get even more fat than normal by the end of the day. No doubt cycling not want to cut out of my routine, but when I found what looked like acne on his face that something had to change!
With a little research, I realized I was not alone. It is not just something that is experienced as a teenager, it was found that diet and environmental factors are leading to an increase in adult acne. As you go about your day, your face dirt, bacteria and contamination of surrounding accumulates. What can you do about it?
The best way to remedy a break is to adjust your diet (avoid refined sugars!) And wash your face with a cleanser. But not all cleaning products are equal. There are some cleaning products have chemicals that are just as bad (or worse!) To your skin as toxins in the air.
Certain ingredients strip the skin of some of the natural oils of the skin needs for protection. Take, for example sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) that handles foaming in many products skin care. SLS has been shown to dry the skin out, encourage mutations in bacteria, and damage the immune system. However, it is often one of the most concentrated ingredients in our products!
There are hundreds of products available on the market, but looking through the research of each ingredient and can be difficult. What’s to avoid all chemicals and test a facelift homemade? When I started looking on the face washed home, my biggest concern was having to get a lot of ingredients. In the back of my store bought cleaners, which was a reasonable assumption.
But I was completely wrong. These 5 DIY face washes are so easy to do! Each of the ingredients in these recipes have many uses beyond skin. You probably have some of these ingredients already, why not give it a try today?
DIY face Recipes casting
DIY foaming face wash for all skin types:
- coconut oil – ½ teaspoon
- soap Castilla – ⅓ cup
- filtered or distilled – ⅔ cup
- lavender essential oil. – 10-15 drops
Shake ingredients in a small bowl until everything is mixed. Take an empty container (I like to reuse empty soap dispensers for this) and the mixture is poured into you.
Face wash for acne-prone or oily skin:
- ½ cup organic honey
- ¼ cup vinegar apple cider
- 10 drops of oil tea tree
Mix all ingredients, put it in a dispenser . Using it, take a little and massage on the face. Wipe with a damp cotton cloth and then wash your face.
cleaner DIY face for dry skin:
- almond oil 1 tablespoon
- 1 cup soap Castilla mild
- 20 drops of fragrance of jasmine
- 1 cup distilled water
Mix all ingredients in a small bowl until everything is mixed. Pour into a dispensing bottle.
gel face wash for dry skin or fat:
- ¼ cup aloe vera gel
- 1 or 2 teaspoons of sweet almond oil
- few drops of your choice of essential oil (optional)
Shake all ingredients in a small bowl until well blended. Pour into a dispensing bottle. For oily skin, almond oil substitute liquid castile soap.
basic face wash:
- ½ cup liquid Castile soap
- 1 to 2 tbsp. oil
- 10 drops of essential oil
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Pour this mixture into an empty dispenser. For oily skin, oils substitutes aloe vera gel (see previous recipe). You can optionally add ground coffee to the mix to make it into an exfoliating cleanser.
